Such an important backbone infrastructure he concluded would only solidify economic and diplomatic relations between Cameroon and Nigeria, wherefore the interest it commands at the highest level of state.
Coming on the heels of the laying of the foundation stone towards the construction of a second bridge over the Wouri River in the 4th quarter of 2013, the visit, the MD also prompted was at the behest of the Minister of Public Works. Public authorities he said are interested in harnessing synergies from both developments lying adjacent to each other in terms of environmental management; operational efficiency and effectiveness requiring wharf and turning pond developments during and after construction works.
According to project management engineers at Dangote Cement, they are deploying the latest technologies and will remain watchful for future developments so as to minimise environmental damage. Quality wise Dangote’s CPJ 42.5 brand is set to raise quality standards in the domestic market to levels never before experienced.
